The G11 combines an amp modelling panel, an effects section, five stomp switches and an expression pedal in one unit. A 5-inch colour touchscreen is used to build patches by dragging and swiping. A patch can chain an amp model with up to nine effects, and 240 user patches can be stored. Three playing views are offered: by patch, by effect and by bank.
Cabinet sounds come from 22 cabinet emulations of the modelled amps, 70 pre-loaded impulse responses and slots for up to 130 user IRs, which can be imported from a USB flash drive. There is also a 5-minute stereo looper and 68 built-in rhythm patterns. The unit adds original distortion and modulation effects, and more effects can be downloaded through Guitar Lab.
It has a mono instrument input, an aux input, two send/return loops, stereo outputs, a headphone output, MIDI in/out and an input for an external expression pedal. A USB-C port works as a 4-in/4-out audio interface for a computer. Remote control from the Handy Guitar Lab iOS app needs the optional BTA-1 Bluetooth adapter.
