The UR-RT4 is a desktop USB 2.0 audio and MIDI interface in a full-metal housing. It records and plays back at up to 24-bit/192 kHz and offers six inputs and six TRS outputs. Four combo inputs feed Class A D-PRE microphone preamps, each with a switchable Rupert Neve Designs transformer, and two of the inputs accept Hi-Z sources. Switchable +48 V phantom power is available for the microphone inputs.
An onboard SSP 2 DSP handles latency-free monitoring with effects, controlled through the dspMixFx mixer application. Included effects are REV-X reverb, the Sweet Spot Morphing Channel Strip and Guitar Amp Classics (Clean, Crunch, Drive and Lead), available as VST 3 and AU plug-ins. A high-pass filter is also provided, and monitoring with effects is integrated with Cubase.
Two headphone outputs each have their own volume control, and the six TRS outputs allow routing to several monitor pairs. The interface connects to a computer or iPad/iPhone over USB 2.0, includes MIDI I/O and is powered by an external 12 V AC adaptor. Cubase AI and Cubasis LE are included.
