The Ukiyo-E Chorus (NCH-4) uses DSP to imitate the behaviour of BBD-based analog chorus circuits. Three models are on board: ST Chorus, inspired by a classic stereo chorus pedal with the bass and treble controls fixed internally at the middle position; SCH-1, a tribute to a vintage analog chorus that covers anything from subtle clean chorus to a Leslie-like effect; and CE-1, aimed at a warm, jazz-style chorus tone. Models are switched by tapping the tap switch, which also provides sub-division with Smart Tap Tempo.

The dry signal stays analog for low noise and no added latency. Bypass can be set to true bypass or buffered bypass with trails. The pedal supports stereo input and output through a TRS cable with Stereo mode selected, and it runs from a 9V DC supply at under 100mA.

A USB-C port is provided for firmware updates only. Connecting it to a computer while holding the footswitch at power-up enters DFU mode, and firmware for macOS and Windows is available with an update guide.
