The HF175 is a closed-back, on-ear (supra-aural) dynamic headphone built around 40 mm neodymium drivers. The closed design isolates the wearer from surrounding noise, which suits cueing during live DJ sets as well as monitoring and mixing in the studio. The frame combines manganese steel with an adjustable stainless steel headband.
Comfort and handling features include cushioned ear pads, a stitched headband and cups that rotate 180 degrees for single-ear monitoring and compact transport. The headphones are lightweight, with a nominal headband pressure of about 2.8 N.
They connect through a single-sided, straight 3 m cable that ends in a 3.5 mm plug with a 6.3 mm adapter-style plug combination, so they can be used with mixers, controllers, audio interfaces and portable players. Impedance is 32 Ω, sensitivity 95 dB ±3 dB and frequency response 15 Hz to 22 kHz.
