Single-channel 20W all-valve combo amplifier from Marshall's Studio range, built in the UK and voiced after the JCM800. A switch drops output to 5W for home and rehearsal use, and it carries a 10-inch Celestion speaker.

The Studio Classic Combo is a compact, single-channel valve combo modelled on the JCM800 sound. It uses two EL34 power valves and ECC83 preamp and phase-splitter valves, with a master volume so the amp can be pushed into overdrive at lower levels. A switch changes output between 20W and 5W.
Controls are preamp volume, master volume, treble, middle, bass and presence. There are two 1/4" instrument inputs with high and low sensitivity, and a series effects loop that can be switched in and out. The amp has no built-in effects. Sound is produced by a 1x10" Celestion VT-Junior speaker rated at 16Ω and 50W.
For connections, the rear panel has five 1/4" speaker output jacks covering 16Ω, 8Ω and 4Ω loads, plus a 1/4" DI output. The amp is built at the maker's factory in Bletchley, England, with some hand-soldered construction, and comes in a black finish with a detachable power cable.
