The MAUI 28 G3 is an all-in-one active column PA made up of a subwoofer and a two-piece column. The Class D amplifier gives 1030 W RMS (2060 W peak) and a maximum peak SPL of 127 dB. The subwoofer uses a single 12" woofer with four bass reflex ports and reaches down to 37 Hz. The column holds 12 x 3.5" midrange drivers and 2 x 1" tweeters and covers 120° horizontally and 30° vertically.

The columns are built as cardioid radiators, with up to 18 dB of attenuation towards the rear to keep stage sound cleaner. A BEM-optimised waveguide and phase plugs are used to keep dispersion even. Second-generation DynX DSP handles processing, and presets allow about 6 dB more bass or a cardioid subwoofer setup when a second MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer is added. Setup detection is automatic and the column elements connect through hidden multi-pin connectors, so no stands or cables are needed to assemble it.

On the back there are two XLR combo inputs and three 3-pole XLR male outputs, and audio can also be streamed over Bluetooth 5.0. The subwoofer cabinet is birch plywood with a polyurea coating, and the columns are powder-coated aluminium. Optional accessories include a castor board, a column carrying bag, a subwoofer protective cover and a protective cap.
