Zen Aqua

Zen Aqua is a wired in-ear headphone built around a hybrid driver set: a 10mm dynamic driver with a double-sided diamond-like carbon (DLC) composite diaphragm, paired with a custom mid-to-high frequency balanced armature unit. The balanced armature is there to extend the high end, which dynamic drivers alone tend to under-deliver. Frequency response runs from 20Hz to 20kHz with 1% total harmonic distortion.

The shell is made from polycarbonate with a metal finish in a water-like gradient. With a 16Ω impedance and 110dB/mW sensitivity, it can be driven by ordinary devices such as phones and tablets. Rated power is 3mW, with a 5mW maximum. It is positioned for studio monitoring, home recording of podcasts, voiceovers and demos, live streaming, content creation and everyday listening, across pop, rock, classical and jazz.

It connects by a 1.2m oxygen-free silver-plated copper cable with a 3.5mm plug. The cable detaches at 0.78mm two-pin connectors, so it can be replaced. Translucent silicone ear tips are supplied in three sizes.
