This is a bass-reflex active two-way speaker built around a 15" cone driver and a 1" compression driver on a constant directivity horn. The crossover sits at 2.5 kHz and the horizontal and vertical dispersion is 90° x 55°. The cabinet volume and acoustic tuning are aimed at a clearer, fuller low end, so it works as a stage or drum monitor as well as a main speaker.
A Class D biamped amplifier delivers 1200 W peak. Protection comes from separate peak and RMS limiters for the high and low-mid sections. Processing is kept simple: a Music/Speech tone control and Flat/Boost filter presets. Maximum SPL is 130 dB peak.
Connections are one balanced XLR/jack combo input (mic or line), a balanced XLR thru output and an IEC power inlet. The MDF cabinet has two MultiGrip handles that also serve as mounting points for TB-45N or TB-45NQ tilt brackets. DuoTilt 3/7 angles and a 42° monitor angle allow different placements. It can be extended into a larger PA by adding the PREMIUM PRO 118 Sub D2.
