FA301iC
The FA301iC is a 6-inch two-way coaxial in-wall / in-ceiling loudspeaker from the FA300iC Series, intended for custom home installation. It has a steerable tweeter and a shallow 92mm mounting depth, and suits rooms where a discreet speaker is wanted.

The FA301iC is a single-unit, two-way coaxial speaker for mounting in a wall or ceiling. It is derived from the F300 Series and uses a 150mm multi-fibre bass / midrange cone with a FyneFlute surround and a 25mm polyester dome tweeter mounted coaxially at its centre. The tweeter sits in an adjustable pod, so the high frequencies can be aimed towards the listening position.
The passive crossover is tuned for installed use, with a 3.2kHz crossover frequency and a 2nd order low pass / 1st order high pass design. Sensitivity is 89dB and nominal impedance is 8 Ohm, with a recommended amplifier power of 25 - 100 Watt RMS. Quoted in-room frequency response is 44Hz - 28kHz (-6dB).
Installation uses easy-fit clamps with a 5 - 50mm travel, a 208mm cut-out and 92mm of depth behind the mounting surface. A round low-profile grille is supplied as an option choice, and a square grille is available as an optional extra. A suggested minimum enclosure volume of 10 L applies. Connection is to a standard amplifier through passive speaker wiring.
