NeoBuds Pro 2 are true wireless earbuds that combine a Knowles balanced armature driver with a 10mm dynamic driver, split by active cross-over and digital signal processing. Active noise cancellation uses an added independent feed-forward channel, with stated depth of up to -50dB and bandwidth up to 5kHz. Several noise-cancellation modes can be selected.
Audio is supported over Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC, LHDC (5.0 for up to 192kHz/24bit), AAC and SBC. Built-in gyro and accelerometer sensors drive spatial audio with head tracking, which is also visualised in the companion app. Calls use 4+4 microphones with a machine-learning algorithm to reduce environmental and wind noise. An infrared sensor detects wearing and pauses or resumes playback, and a gaming mode lowers latency.
The earbuds carry an IP54 rating and ship with 7 pairs of ear tips. Google Fast Pair speeds up pairing with Android devices. The Edifier Connect app handles EQ, control settings and LED colour choice. Charging is by USB-C, with up to 22 hours of total playback using the case.
