Night Wire

The pedal splits the incoming signal into a high-pass and a low-pass filter and modulates them with an LFO whose two halves run 180 degrees apart. Unlike a traditional harmonic tremolo, the center point of both filters can be moved. A three-way Frequency toggle chooses Manual (fixed center point), LFO (continuous sweep, with the knob setting sweep speed) or Attack (sweep follows pick attack, with the knob acting as a range or sensitivity control).

The tremolo section has Manual and Attack modes. In Manual the Rate knob sets the speed directly. In Attack the speed follows how hard the strings are picked, and Rate sets the sensitivity. Depth runs from subtle shimmer to heavy throbbing. At zero depth the amplitude modulation is removed and the pedal behaves as a fixed filter, phase shifter or envelope-controlled filter, depending on the Frequency mode. A Level control provides cut or boost, with unity gain around noon.

Switching is relay-based true bypass using Flexi-Switch, which allows both latching and momentary operation. Because the relay needs power, the pedal passes no signal without it. It runs from a 9 V DC supply with a 2.1 mm negative-center barrel.
