The TLC2020 is a battery-powered time-lapse camera that records a sequence of photos at a chosen interval and shoots to a schedule. It assembles the finished time-lapse video in the camera, so no editing is needed afterwards. Besides Time Lapse, it offers Step Video, Stop Motion and Still Photo capture modes.
Its HDR and Full HD sensors are meant to cope with high-contrast scenes such as backlit or low-light locations, indoors or outdoors. A scene-based Capture Theme menu lets the user choose film settings for the subject without manual tuning, and the shooting schedule can be set to suit the project. A battery-type setting adjusts power use, and the camera is rated for up to 99 days at a 5-minute interval on lithium batteries.
Power comes from 4 AA batteries or a USB-C 5V 1A input. Footage is stored on microSD, microSDHC or microSDXC cards up to 128 GB, and a 2-inch TFT screen is used for setup. The lens is removable and fits only the BCS24-70mm lens accessory. Bundles add the ATH1000 waterproof housing, with clamp or wall mount options, for outdoor jobsites.
