Warm Audio WA-2MPX – Dual-Channel Tube Mic / Line / Instrument Preamp

The Warm Audio WA-2MPX is a dual-channel tube preamp inspired by legendary 351-style tape machine circuits.

Galvenās iezīmes

• Dual-channel tube design: Each channel uses a pair of 12AX7 tubes and a 12AU7 tube for harmonic depth, saturation and classic analog feel.
• Up to 90 dB of gain: High-gain mode adds an extra 20 dB, making it suitable for low-output ribbon and dynamic microphones.
• Selectable tape saturation circuit: Adds musical harmonics and gentle compression reminiscent of vintage tape machines.
• Mic impedance switch: Changes between 600 Ω and 150 Ω to fine-tune presence and response with different microphones.
• High-pass and low-pass filters: 80 Hz high-pass removes rumble, while a 2 kHz low-pass softens harshness when needed.
• Versatile I/O: Each channel supports mic XLR, line-level TRS and front-panel instrument inputs for flexible routing.

The WA-2MPX gives creators access to premium tube tone with extensive control options. From vocals to guitars, drum overheads to stereo instrument setups, its wide gain range, built-in filters and saturation circuit make it a powerful front-end for both recording and hybrid studio environments.
