OCV 8
The OCV 8 is an 8-inch coaxial pendant loudspeaker rated at 280 W, built for installed sound in airports, transport terminals, shopping malls and tall commercial spaces. Its IP64-rated enclosure also suits damp, dusty or moderately weather-exposed indoor and outdoor locations.

The OCV 8 is a pendant-style installation loudspeaker with a coaxial driver arrangement: a 203 mm (8") polypropylene mid bass driver with a 25 mm (1") ferrofluid cooled soft dome neodymium high frequency driver mounted on the same axis. The design aims at wide, consistent broadband coverage and good speech intelligibility, with a linear response derived from the maker's studio monitors.
The cylindrical enclosure is plated steel in a semi matt black finish with a powder coated mild steel grille. It carries an IP64 rating, so it can be used in indoor swimming pool areas, saunas, dusty work areas and outdoor sites with moderate weather. It is intended for aesthetically sensitive spaces and for multi-zone installations alongside other Tannoy installation loudspeakers.
Connections are made through Phoenix input and link output connectors, protected by an included weatherproof cable gland. An integral low-insertion loss 60 W transformer with tap switching allows constant-voltage use. The speaker is optimised for LAB GRUPPEN LUCIA amplifiers, which can drive up to 8 OCV Series loudspeakers per channel.
