UMD192
The UMD192 is a half-rack USB 3.0 audio interface that also bridges MADI and Dante, carrying up to 192 channels at 48/96 kHz or 128 channels at 192 kHz. It suits live sound, broadcast and high-channel-count studio work, including as a computer interface for Dante or MADI systems.

The UMD192 connects a computer over USB 3.0 to MADI and Dante networks. It can pass audio in both directions between any two of the three formats, while the third format can receive a split feed. This makes it usable as a recording and playback interface, or as a bridge that brings MADI devices onto a Dante network.
On the MADI side there are six BNC connectors, which can be set to a redundant mode giving three dual-redundant connections. The Dante side supports AES67 and ST 2110 (with DDM) and latency as low as 0.25 ms. The unit can be clocked from the Dante network or from MADI port 1, and it covers sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz.
Front-panel buttons select the signal-flow mode, clock source and MADI redundancy, with a lockout that prevents accidental changes. Power can come from AC mains, Power over Ethernet or USB bus power, alone or combined for failover. The unit can sit on a desktop, beside a console or in a rack. It is class-compliant on macOS and uses an included ASIO/WDM driver on Windows.
