IE 500 Pro

The IE 500 PRO Clear is a wired in-ear monitor built around a 7 mm dynamic wideband transducer using the TrueResponse driver system. This design aims to reduce acoustic stress factors and keep distortion low; total harmonic distortion is specified at below 0.08 %. The frequency response runs from 6 to 20,000 Hz and impedance is 16 ohms.

The housing is compact and ergonomic, designed to sit securely in the ear canal during movement. Three sizes each of silicone and foam ear adapters are included to adjust fit and passive isolation. The earpiece shape and the tips together provide the shielding from outside noise.

The cable is detachable and uses a twisted-pair construction, which resists structure-borne noise. It has a shock-proof cable duct that can be replaced, and the cable is 1.3 m long. A 6.3 mm jack adapter is included for connecting to standard monitoring outputs. Spare earpieces, ear adapters and alternative cables are sold separately as accessories.
