The VQD106 is a complete electronic kit in which the pads, pedal bases and stand are designed to reduce strike noise and floor vibration. The snare, three toms and three cymbal pads use honeycomb rubber inserts with mesh heads and vented undersides, while the kick pad sits in a floating frame with rubber feet. A quiet beater and dedicated bases for the kick and hi-hat pedals limit the thumps that travel through the floor.
The PDQ-8S snare offers independent head and rim triggering. The CYQ-12 crash and ride pads have bow and edge triggers, swinging motion and choke support, and the hi-hat uses a CYQ-12 pad with the FD-9 control pedal. The kick pad takes single or double pedals.
The TD-07 module provides 50 drum kits and 143 instruments, a multi-effects section, a metronome and a Coach function with five modes. Bluetooth streams audio and carries MIDI, and USB handles audio and MIDI recording to a computer. A kick pedal and drum throne are not included.
