The DXP S0104 is a small SDI distributor in RGBlink's DXP series, listed as a mini-convertor. It takes a single SDI input and provides four outputs, handling serial digital video from SD-SDI through HD-SDI, 3G-SDI and 6G-SDI up to 12G-SDI, at data rates of up to 12 Gb/s.
The input stage has a built-in automatic cable equalizer and clock and data recovery, which helps keep signals clean over cable runs. Embedded audio and auxiliary data are supported, so ancillary information passes through with the video.
The unit is plug-and-play and supports hot swapping, so it can be connected without configuration. It has a sturdy frame intended for durability. A specification document (version 1.0, dated 2023-06-16) is available from the maker in English.
