Rb330

The RB330 is a tonearm with an 11 g effective mass and a low-mass aluminium arm tube. The tube shape was developed with 3D CAD and CAM tools, redistributing mass to reduce the number of points where resonance can occur. The horizontal and vertical bearings are hand-selected, precision-made and run with very low friction, with no measurable free play.

This revision adds a new bias assembly, a stiffer vertical bearing housing, an integrated arm clip and a spring housing with easier-to-read numbers. The counterweight is a redesigned 100 g mild steel balance weight.

The arm is wired with a Rega-made low-capacitance phono cable fitted with Neutrik plugs. It mounts at 222 mm from platter centre to the arm hole centre, with an effective length of 236.5 mm. The maker suggests its Fono Mini A2D moving-magnet phono stage as a complementary component.
