The 3010c is the smallest speaker in the 3000c range. It is a sealed two-way design with a 101 mm (4.0 in) mid/bass driver and a 22 mm (0.9 in) tweeter. The mid/bass cone uses a continuous curved profile, which is intended to give controlled bass and a smooth handover to the tweeter. Large magnets on the mid/bass driver are used to keep distortion down.
The tweeter is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle, so pressure changes inside the cabinet and movement of the neighbouring mid/bass driver do not affect it. Inside the cabinet, point-to-point bracing stiffens the enclosure to reduce colouration. The front has a one-piece metallic driver trim, no visible joints or bolts, and a removable grille. Four finishes are offered: Satin Black, Satin White, Pin Oak and Claro Walnut.
The speakers connect to an external stereo amplifier or receiver and are rated for amplifier power of 15-80 W. They are sold as a pair, with foam bungs, grilles and an owner's manual. Matching floor stands and wall brackets are listed as separate accessories.
