Apraksts
The R700 is the largest tower in the Reserve range. Each cabinet carries two 8-inch polypropylene woofers, a 6.5-inch Turbine Cone mid-bass driver in a sealed enclosure, and a 1-inch Pinnacle Ring Radiator tweeter, whose pointed shape is intended to spread high frequencies more widely and enlarge the listening area.
Bass is handled by a floor-firing Power Port 2.0 with X-Port, which smooths airflow out of the cabinet to reduce port noise and uses eigentone filters tuned against cabinet and port resonances. The speaker is Hi-Res Audio certified, with response reaching 50 kHz, and is IMAX Enhanced certified. It is compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X content.
Connection is through dual nickel-plated 5-way binding posts, so it can be bi-wired or bi-amped. It works with 8, 6 or 4 ohm amplifier outputs and an amplifier rated 50 to 300 W. The cabinet stands on spike and pad feet and has no wall-mount keyhole slots. It is offered in Black and Walnut finishes.
