The DDJ-XP1 is an add-on controller for rekordbox with 32 multicoloured performance pads and touch-sensitive Slide FX strips. It suits DJs who want extra hands-on control alongside turntables, multi-players or other external devices.

The DDJ-XP1 extends a rekordbox DJ setup with a dedicated pad section. The upper area handles key and beat sync status, and the lower area holds 32 multicoloured performance pads for Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump, Sampler, Beat Loop and the Key Shift and Keyboard modes.
Two Slide FX strips respond to touch: moving a finger up and down changes the chosen FX combination without switching the selected effects on or off. Key Shift can automatically match the next track's key to the master deck and shift keys up or down. Keyboard mode lets you play a Hot Cue at different semitones, like a synth. A pad editor lets you assign pad modes and features to each pad, and Silent Cue stops the music speeding up when a turntable starts to revolve.
Performance features are unlocked by connecting the unit to a PC or Mac. It also works with rekordbox's low-latency DVS control for scratching.
