The CS1 is a small network streamer that connects to an amplifier, AV receiver, external DAC or powered speakers and plays music sent from a phone, tablet or computer. Playback is controlled from the apps the listener already uses, with support for Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, DLNA and Roon. Bluetooth 5.2 with NFC pairing offers direct wireless playback from compatible devices.
The digital section is built around a differential architecture with a TI PCM5142 DAC and handles audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz. A quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor runs the streaming platform. Supported formats include LPCM, MP3, AC3, Ogg Vorbis, HE-AAC, MQA and WMA.
Outputs cover stereo analogue on RCA, plus optical (TOSLINK) and coaxial digital for receivers and DACs. A 12V trigger output is provided. The unit joins the network over 100 Mbps Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi 5, is powered by a USB-C AC adapter, and comes in a black 140 x 140 x 55 mm enclosure.
