The CI 8-150 DSP v2 is an eight-channel power amplifier built on NAD's HybridDigital platform with custom Hypex nCore output stages. Each channel is rated at 150 W continuous into 8 ohms with all channels driven, and 180 W into 4 ohms. Channel pairs can be bridged for higher output, for example to drive architectural subwoofers, giving 280 W continuous into 8 ohms in bridged mode.
Onboard digital signal processing lets an installer tune output per zone and per loudspeaker. It includes Peak and RMS limiters for speaker protection and crossovers for integrated subwoofers. Setup and monitoring are done through a web interface with a dashboard showing live status, power settings, I/O, zone configuration and DSP.
The amplifier has line-level and digital inputs. Power-up can be controlled through signal sense or a 12 V trigger, and standby draw is 0.5 W. The chassis is a rack-mount unit measuring 483 x 90 x 435 mm.
