Apraksts
The D-X2E is a D-14 Fret dreadnought in Martin's X Series. It has a hand-rubbed satin spruce top with a single-ring abalone-pattern rosette, and back and sides made from figured mahogany high-pressure laminate (HPL). The same model is also offered in Brazilian rosewood and ziricote HPL patterns. A faux tortoise pickguard, white TUSQ saddle and white Corian nut complete the build.
The neck is a PA Profile with High-Performance Taper, made from select hardwood and joined to the body at the 14th fret with a mortise and tenon joint. The fingerboard is 1 3/4" wide at the nut, has a gently beveled edge and carries Style 28 faux abalone pattern inlays. The bridge is a sloped modern belly design with 2 5/32" string spacing. Bracing is scalloped spruce X-bracing, and the neck is Pleked.
For amplification, the guitar has Martin E-1 electronics with a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone and phase controls. It ships strung with Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 Phosphor Bronze Light strings and comes with a waterproof softshell case with backpack straps. A left-handed version is available.
