The IMA 240 is a mixing amplifier for fixed installations. Its Class-D power stage delivers 240 W at 4 Ohm and also offers 70 V and 100 V outputs. A Lo-Z / Hi-Z selector separates the output from the transformer for low-impedance use, and a two-band equalizer adjusts bass and treble.

Two mic/line inputs have a mic/line switch and switchable 24 V phantom power. The first channel adds a switchable chime. Music sources come from two RCA line inputs and Bluetooth 4.0, summed to mono. A balanced emergency input with contact closure and a second priority contact for the mic/line channels give four priority levels, so announcements can mute music or everything else.

A balanced AUX line output can feed external power amplifiers, active subwoofers or music-on-hold systems. A Music-Mix switch sends either the full mix or only the selected music source to it. Capacitive controls handle source selection and Bluetooth pairing, auto standby reduces idle power use, and the power supply is a universal wide-range switching type.
