Aurelius is a digital modulation pedal built around three voices: Vibrato (Mode V), Chorus (Mode C) and Rotary (Mode R). Each voice is shaped with Width, Rate and Balance controls. Mode V uses a triangle LFO on a short delay line, Mode C blends chorus and flanger with a sine LFO and added feedback at higher Width settings, and Mode R imitates a rotary speaker cabinet using combined amplitude and frequency modulation. The design is inspired by the 1970s CE-1 Chorus Ensemble.
Six preset slots store the three control positions, the mode switch and the expression assignment. A Save/Recall switch changes between Live Mode, where the knobs act directly, and Preset Mode, where stored settings are used and the knobs are ignored. The LED colour shows which operating mode is active.
An expression jack accepts any TRS expression pedal to control Width, Rate or Balance, with a separate assignment per preset. It also accepts control voltage in the 0 to 3.3 V range. Bypass is relay-based true bypass with Flexi-Switch behaviour, supporting latching and momentary use, and the pedal needs power to pass signal. It runs from a 9 V DC supply with a 2.1 mm negative-centre barrel.
